Once registered, the travellers must make their visit within three months. It is to be noted that the 15-day visa-free period cannot be extended. The travellers are further required to provide their travel itinerary upon arrival.

In order to re-enter Malaysia, travellers from both nations can do so only 45 days after leaving the country and repeating the registration process.
