Not a hotel. Unbelievably poor.
by owdrick on 12 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)
Whilst the owner was very quick at taking my money for the booking, for everything else he simply wasn't available. The entrance and booking in area where deserted all night. No restaurant / food available, and no addresses or contact details for food delivery businessess. The room was adequate, except for the main room lights being dud. In short, this place is without doubt the worst run rooming establishment trading as a hotel I have encountered.
What can I say

Arrived at our hotel last night, very little communication with who ever is in charge, reception not manned everything written on big pieces of paper, room was average but breakfast has just been a whole new experience, firstly the small carton of milk for our cereal was frozen hubby defrosted on top of toaster, but gave up, if you like dry toast your ok but no butter, poor selection on jam/ marmalade. Never got coffee as milk still frozen. Bearing in mind we have now got to go find somewhere fo...
NOT A HOTEL- DO NOT STAY HERE

We arrived around 4 o'clock. There was no one at reception (if you can call it that). Just a piece of paper which said to call the telephone number. We called the number and a man extremely casually dressed came downstairs, gave us our keys and showed us to our room. It seemed to me he was a live i...
Nice and tidy place

The room was huge and freshly cleaned. Friendly staff. For the price its definitely worth it. The city centre is 5 minute with a bus. Stayed for 2 nights, we got fresh towels and room service, every day.

My partner and I turned up to book in about 3pm to be told (eventually as no one was at reception) that we were too early and the room wouldn't be ready until 4pm. We left our bag and headed into town to catch an exhibition and for dinner then received a phone call at 7pm asking when we were checking in. We took a taxi back to check in then taken to our room through a dark corridor with wallpaper hanging off the walls. We were more relieved than anything else when we saw that the bed was actual...
