Best night. Absolutely love chester
by w0rthy on 25 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)
Stayed at this hotel for my birthday for 1 night. What a great location right in the middle of the city and what a wonderful place it is. I had never been to chester before but I will undoubtedly return. It is so beautiful and quirky with loads to do. The travelodge itself was very basic and our room felt like a prison cell with no personality at all just plain white walls a small table and a bed. But it was just a place to sleep and for the price we paid was well worth it. There is no car park....
You get what you pay for

The hotel was very reasonably priced but as they say you get what you pay for! The bathroom was unclean, the toilet seat was broken I nearly fell off it, the extractor fan wasn't working so it was steamy & damp smelling & the bathroom floor needed a good scrub. We were looking for a hotel for the night in Chester and managed to obtain a room in this one for a ridiculous bargain rate. We were pleased to discover on arrival not only the central location but also its proximity to the Ampitheatre and ruins. The room was clean and very spacious. The staff were efficient. Whilst this hotel does not have a restaurant, breakfast boxes are available. We ventured out and located a Greggs minutes away where we enjoyed breakfast for two for a fiver in total. There is ...
Travelodge succeeds again
by BLT2 on 11 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)
Not stayed in this travelodge before but as with other hotels in this chain everything was great Despite having to work on Christmas Day the young man on reception was pleasant and helpful. The large room was spotless, the beds comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Great value for money even having paid extra to take the dog! Didn't have breakfast as visiting family but travelodge lived up to my expectations yet again
Excellent value for money

The Travelodge Chester Central might not be 5 star but is excellent value for money. Great central location with subsided secure parking nearby. My room was clean and comfortable on the corner of the building with a lovely view. The receptionists were both polite and friendly when I checked in and out, asking if everything was ok. There is a little bit of noise form the bar downstairs, but thats only to be expected in such a central location. There is no restaurant or bar in this Travelodge b...
