- •Completed and signed Schengen visa application form
- •Confirmed return / onward flight bookings
- •Hotel reservations or invitation letter from host (with host's Schengen residency proof)
- •Travel insurance covering all Schengen countries (minimum €30,000 medical + repatriation coverage)
- •Bank statements for last 3–6 months (showing sufficient funds; approx. €50–100 per day of stay)
- •Last 3 months' salary slips OR Income Tax Returns for last 2 years (self-employed / business owners)
- •Employment letter on company letterhead confirming position, salary, approved leave dates
- •Leave sanction letter from employer
- •Cover letter describing purpose of visit, detailed itinerary, and intent to return
- •Copy of previous visas / travel history (if any)
- •Copy of old / expired passports (if any)

Transit
Airport Transit Visa (ATV) required
Indian passport holders need a Schengen Airport Transit Visa (ATV) to pass through the international zone of a Schengen airport, even without passing through passport control. Exempt if you hold a valid Schengen, US, UK, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand visa or a valid residence permit from any of those countries.
