great location great food friendly staff. right next to St. Pauls. Remarkable value. However if you are a light sleeper like me and you always seem to get a snorer in your bunk you will feel like doing a Sweeney Todd on them. I always seem to get someone who stores like a pig stuck in a gate. Also being central london there are often deliveries at night. BUT for central london you wont beat this place. great breakfast as well.
Perfect location for the river and city of London

This is an older hostel so dormitories tend to be larger with separate toilets and showers. There are a lot of floors and stairs and no lifts. But luggage can be stored in the basement just one flight of stairs down. A good cafe serving snacks and meals. I had a single room that was excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.Excellent location just a minute from St Paul's cathedral and all the attractions of the city and river Thames in walking distance.

The hostel was great , the staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was just what we needed in the morning. Made for a great stay we will use it again. Next time we may stay for longer , it was really usefull being able to leave our bags in the luggage store all day while we went sightseeing.

I stayed in this hostel for three nights in December 2016. The constant going in and out in a 8-bed-dorm sometimes made it hard to sleep but that was expected. The staff has always been friendly and helpful even while checking out in the middle of the night. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. The proximity to an underground station and various bus stops made it easy to get wherever I wanted to go. Thanks to YHA St. Paul's for being part of a great trip.
Never stayed in a youth hostel before!

So......we were in London staying the night and as we needed to be very close to St Paul's this was the closest place. Being YHA virgins we did read the reviews and knew what to expect The staff were very friendly and helpful The room basic but the beds and bedding clean and comfortable Breakfast good value and plenty of choice Location for St Paul's brilliant The bells nearby presumably St Paul's chime on the half hour and the hour which sounds lovely........all night! The doors to the room...
