After the grand success of Vande Bharat Express on the Delhi-Varanasi route, Indian Railways is planning to launch this train on several other routes. According to the recent reports, railways is all set to launch a revamped version of Train 18 on the Mumbai-Delhi route with new safety features and exterior designs. The train will reduce the travel time between these destinations from 16 hours to 12 hours.
Automatic doors, bio-vacuum toilets, GPS-enabled compartments and Wi-Fi facility available in Train 18 supersedes the facilities provided in all other premium trains. The alterations have been made as per the feedback received from the passengers.
