Dynamic fare scheme for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express

Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express is set to begin its commercial operations from 17th Jan 2020. The train is the second train in the country that will be completely operated by IRCTC.

Here are some highlights about this train —

1– It will run for six days a week on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route.
2– Passengers will get compensation if the train gets delayed.
3– In case of an hour-long delay, train passengers will get a compensation of INR 100. If the delay is for two hours or more, the passengers will be offered a compensation of INR 250.


4– To claim the compensation, passengers need to fill out a compensation form or call on their toll-free number.
5– Option of Tatkal ticket booking won’t be available in the Tejas Express train.
6– The fare will remain dynamic and will vary as per the regular, hectic and festive seasons.
