Good news for all devotees! To manage the extra rush of passengers ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Indian Railways announced 12 more Ganpati Special trains.

These additional services will provide ease of transportation to the devotees attending the festival as well as to the regular passengers.

Here are the details:
A) In order to fulfil the higher passenger demand, the Konkan Railway will run eight Ganpati Special trains in coordination with the Central and the Western Railway.

B) Apart from these eight Ganpati Specials, the Konkan Railway has also decided to run two trains between Mangaluru and Mumbai.

C) The Western Railway announced two additional Ganpati Special trains, which will operate between Udhna and Madgaon at special fares.
Check the details below:
> Train no. 09020 Udhna–Madgaon Special will run on 27th and 29th August, departing from Udhna at 3:25 PM.
> Train no. 09019 Madgaon–Udhna Special will run on 28th and 30th August, departing from Madgaon at 10:20 AM.
In another piece of news, the Konkan Railway increased two AC Two-Tier coaches, two AC Three-Tier coaches and one AC Chair Car coach on a temporary basis in the following four trains:
