Aanejari Butterfly Camp-junglelodges

This was our sixth visit to Jungle Lodges and Resorts, situated right on the banks of the Dandeli river. We stayed in a river view tent. After lunch, we went on a safari to Kali Tiger Reserve where we saw various birds, spotted deer, and Indian gaur. The forest is very dense, and the viewpoint inside the forest is not to be missed. On the way back, we were lucky to see a Malabar giant squirrel. The food served was homely and included local specialties. The next morning, we went birdwatching and saw Malabar hornbills along with many other birds. Thanks to the entire team for their excellent hospitality, well-organized activities, and service. Special thanks to my safari guide Praveen and driver Omkar Desai for their care towards tourists.

The location is completely surrounded by nature. You can only hear birds chirping and the sound of the river flowing. It’s that peaceful, and the place is really good and calm. ’?The trekking distance is short, but because of the nature around, it was amazing.The rooms are neat, clean, and spacious.The food tastes really good.The staff are very friendly and polite.

An excellent location in the middle of the forest. You can see a variety of birds and butterflies here during the peak season (October to March).The food and service are excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful.The rooms are showing signs of age with the wood around the door frames rotting in some places. Cleanliness in the room could be better. The space beneath and behind the bed seemed it wasn't cleaned for a few months.This might change as the cottages are getting renovated.Overall a nice place to visit and stay for 2 or 3 days.

A tranquil spot with fantastic riverfront rooms. Relax in the evening while enjoying the flowing river and the sounds of birds. The food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

A fantastic nature camp offering full board near Dandeli town. The 7 cottages and tents situated on the banks of the Kali river provide a great choice. The price covers a 3-hour safari and a bird watching trek, with a high chance of seeing hornbills.
