Avadale Wayanad (Stag Groups Not Allowed)

’’’’’ (4/5)We had booked Avadale for a family vacation from 15th’18th May with our two kids. The main disappointment was that the swimming pool was under maintenance and not operational when we arrived. Since the pool was one of the key reasons we chose this property, it would have been better if this had been informed to guests before arrival.That said, I really appreciate how the management handled the situation. The property manager was very polite, understood our concern, and agreed to refund the remaining 2 nights. They also helped us find alternative resorts nearby. Since it was already evening, we stayed for one night and checked out the next morning.The family cottage was spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Food was another highlight’both dinner and breakfast were tasty with a nice local touch. The dining area also has beautiful views of the surrounding hills.The games room is quite basic, though we did enjoy playing table tennis with the kids.One thing to note is that you need to park your car at the base point and take a 4x4 jeep ride to reach the property. The ride takes around 15’20 minutes on a bumpy road, so people with back issues should keep that in mind.Overall, while we were disappointed about the pool, the excellent staff, good food, clean rooms, and the professional way they resolved our issue left us with a positive impression. A Perfect Hilltop Escape! Just returned from an unforgettable stay at Avadale Wayanad. Perched on a hilltop amidst lush coffee plantations and greenery, the location offers breathtaking views and serene vibes that make it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The bumpy off-roading jeep ride up adds to the adventure. It's about 2 kms taking 20 mins one way.The cottages are charming, spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained with modern comforts like AC, hot water, mini-fridge, and private sit-outs. Everything blends perfectly with nature.Food is delicious, fresh, but not much buffet spread ’ we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The outdoor pool with views is a good, along with the garden, games, and peaceful walks around the property.Staff are exceptionally polite, helpful, and proactive. High-speed Wi-Fi, parking, housekeeping, and family-friendly amenities are all spot on.Great value for money, peaceful atmosphere, and perfect for couples/families (no stag groups). Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil, nature-immersed holiday in Wayanad. Will definitely visit again!

Stayed here for two days for a girls trip and absolutely loved our stay, it’s a solid 10/10 for the price.Staff was super courteous, accommodative & helpful. Rooms were neat & clean and the location of the property itself is very beautiful. We also caught the sunset right outside our rooms.Highly recommended.Just a note for other visitors - It takes a 2km off-roading (pick up & drop and managed by the stay) and there no other food options other than the Avadale restaurant which we found a bit expensive.

Visited Avadale for a holiday for 5 days and 4 nights, it was an amazing experience. The manager of the resort Mr Ravi was very accomodating and supportive and made sure our visit was comfortable and ensured all of our needs where met. Also the staffs are super friendly and fulfilled all of our needs. The room was very clean and well maintained and the cleaning staff every day made justice to their job. There is a jeep ride to reach the resort and the drivers of the ride where very professional and accomodating whenever we request for a ride. Special thanks to Mr Thomas who was very welcoming and gave us a lot of suggestions for site seeing always with a smile on his face. The food was great and special thanks to Mr Dharmendra who is the chef and all folks who contributed to the cooking. Overall it was worth it and will strongly recommend this wonderful resort with amazing view and exceptionally friendly and compassionate staff to everyone who is looking for a nice retreat.

Set amidst lush greenery in Wayanad, this is a peaceful and nature friendly resort ideal for travelers who enjoy staying close to nature. The surroundings are calm, scenic, and well maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere away from crowded tourist areas.The resort is well known for its good and tasty food along with top notch service throughout the stay. Staff members are extremely friendly, polite, and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming experience.
