I’m honestly disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While I understand that checkout times are set for a reason and guests are expected to follow them, the way it was handled here felt unnecessarily rigid and unaccommodating. After a long 10-hour journey, I was extremely tired and had chosen this hotel for its convenience and good reviews. I initially booked for one night with the option to extend for two more nights depending on my experience.Unfortunately, instead of a comfortable stay, I was met with multiple issues from having to request basic things repeatedly to a broken bathroom door that clearly shouldn’t be in use for guests and needs to be fixed immediately. On the morning of checkout, I received multiple reminder calls, which felt pushy rather than courteous. A short grace period of even 20–30 minutes would not have made any real difference, especially since the hotel didn’t appear fully booked and the room itself wasn’t in a condition to be reassigned right away.What made things worse was the behavior of the front desk staff. The person on duty in the morning, who I believe may have been the manager, was rude and impolite. He did not come across as professional or accommodating, and frankly did not seem qualified for that role. There wasn’t even a basic “thank you” or “goodbye” when I checked out, which reflects poorly on the level of service.I also feel the hotel’s reviews may be somewhat overhyped compared to the actual experience. In hindsight, I’m glad I only booked for one night rather than committing to a longer stay, as it gave me the flexibility to move elsewhere. I ended up finding a much better place closer to town with far more professional service and a significantly more pleasant stay.One positive note: the café at the hotel was actually quite good. The food was enjoyable, and a lady from the café staff was especially friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.Overall, based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The accommodation was very clean and well kept.

The hotel is tidy and appealing, featuring a 24-hour front desk. I felt safe and secure during my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was effective. The staff were professional, friendly, and eager to assist. There is a doorman to help guests and a parking area in front, which is convenient for catching a taxi. The hotel was quiet throughout my visit. I would recommend adding a dresser or closet for clothes in the rooms. Having a kettle for tea would also be nice, although I believe guests can request a hot drink in the lobby in the morning. The hotel’s price is quite reasonable. It is located near the new bus station and shops, but it is a few kilometers away from Kanhangad’s city center.

The staff are very friendly and professional. Good rooms with air conditioning (a necessity in the heat) and a nice bed, shower, and wifi. The standard room size is rather small and it would be nice to have a dresser for clothing or a closet in the room and some more amenities such as kettle for tea and ironing board. However, the staff will provide coffee in the morning upon request and they will be attentive to the needs of the guests. Safety: there's staff in the facility 24/7 so this very good.
