Capital O Hotel Gulmohar Grand

My experience was fantastic! Had a great time in Hotel Gulmohar Grand! Everything is top notch starting from the food, the services, the ambience, the rooms & the infrastructure! Even the staff is very helpful & polite! Overall it's a deserving 3 star hotel from my side!

5 star hygeine, service quality in a 3 star hotel! As a solo woman traveller, i felt very comfortable especially as it had practically all women staff. The food quality, staff behaviour and the room size were the top things for me. Rooms are large and the hotel is very well ventilated, has large windows everywhere, not the typical sealed, claustrophobic galleries and common areas. Large bed, decent quality bed linen. Complete value for money. The amenities are basic but everything is good quality and working. Staff is very responsive. Breakfast spread was also good, both Indian and Continental, most importantly the quality of food at the restaurant is very good, tastes like home made food, not very oily or spicy. Overall an excellent stay.

It was a surprising find. Very well designed and fitted. Everything was as per top expectations. The location is in middle of a colony with construction going all around, so there are no views. Breakfast, particularly their tea/coffee services can be improved. Recommended

A nice hotel near to the center of Jorhat. The hotel is located in an area just a few meters insde a lane from the TR Phukon Road. There are a few restaurants within 500 meters of the hotel. The rooms are reasonably spacious and the bathroom clean but the bath area is not separated from the toilet, as such the bathroom becomes wet after a bath. There is a fan in the bathroom which quickly dries the washroom. The room does have the basic facilities like fridge, tea/coffee maker with some biscuits & snacks. Rooms are aircoditioned. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop also. Live music in the evening too. Food is fine. Service is also good. Parking is very limited. A good place to stay for a couple of nights.

We had a nice and comfortable stay at Gulmohar Grand Annex. The room was clean, the property is impeccably maintained. The service staff are very kind and always willing to help. We were staying at the annex which is about 200m away from the main building and restaurant, but they provided us with cab services to pickup and drop to and from the restaurant to our annex building. The food is very tasty. The hotel is centrally located and at a comfortable distance from all other hotspots. I would highly recommend a stay here.
