We booked a "Premium Cottage," but the actual room condition was well below average and severely lacked maintenance. The interiors feel outdated and neglected: the wooden sofas and chairs had peeling paint, the doors looked like they hadn't been painted in a decade, and water was leaking from the commode every time it was flushed.Communication was a major issue during our stay. The room extension phone wasn't working, and because cellular network coverage is incredibly poor in the area, getting in touch with housekeeping or the reception was a massive hassle. The dining hall was also poorly maintained, and the food served was just average.The only saving graces of this property are its beautiful location and the friendly, well-behaved staff who did their best. However, the resort desperately needs a deep renovation to justify being called "premium cottage." I would currently rate it below average for maintenance.
Their breakfast got over in an hour while the duration was 2 hours. There were already less items because of LPG shortage and on asking for a replacement item for some of the items that got over, they made excuses and asked us to manage with whatever was left.We asked for black coffee too, and even after multiple reminders it never came.Only stay was decent with a small fan which is not effective instead a proper ceiling fan would have been preferred when there is also no AC, afternoons become extremely unbearable. In the evening mosquitos come in and you are forced to open the windows as the fan is ineffective. And one of the members travelling with us got dengue.
Felt very close to nature. A great escape from city life and all kinds of pollution. You can hear and experience nature very closely. Staff also very nice
