This was easily one of the worst stays of my life. Calling this place a "resort" is a complete scam—it is essentially a cramped motel squeezed onto a tiny 0.5-acre plot with extremely poor infrastructure.Here is a full breakdown of our experience:Hygiene & Rooms: The rooms were unhygienic, dirty, and smelled awful. Even *** per night is not justified for the dismal quality they offer. The entire property is in desperate need of serious renovation.Location & Views: Located in the middle of nowhere with a terrible location. Despite claiming scenic surroundings, there are no views of the river or the mountains whatsoever. Properties here are crammed together like anything.Road Conditions & Safety: The journey to get here is dreadful and extremely unsafe. The road to Mohan Chatti is broken with missing patches, and the internal roads are narrow, completely unpaved, and without any asphalt—it is total off-roading. Furthermore, the roads are very dangerous as there are no guardrails/railings, the path narrows significantly, and there are no streetlights available. These local businesses clearly do not care to invest in or develop proper access roads.Connectivity: There is no mobile network signal in the area, leaving you completely disconnected and stranded if any emergency arises.Amenities & Food: The swimming pool is tiny with very dirty, unhygienic water. We ordered tea, which was absolutely pathetic. Nothing here was good.Crowd & Ambience: The crowd was terrible—full of hooligans playing loud blaring music and drinking alcohol. It is completely unsafe and unsuitable for families.Final Verdict: If I had known all this beforehand, I would have booked a hotel directly in Rishikesh city instead. Please save your money and avoid coming here, especially with your family!
