Approaching road is not good.. Better to leave your vehicle on road and track for 500m to reach this hotel.. also, balcony is only in 1 room out of 3 rooms. Talking about amenities then you have to ask for everything even for mentioned room amenities ...!! Food was ok .
Place was clean and food was good but location is at a lower elevation. Further, clouds regularly block your view of the mountain range which is the prime reason your visiting kausani. Host was helpful.
My family and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at Golden Himalaya Homestay. The hospitality was very welcoming, the rooms were cozy and spotless, and the meals were delicious, fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared. The standout feature is undoubtedly the view. The property provides stunning 360° vistas of the Himalayan mountains, and waking up to that scenery is truly special. For those seeking tranquility, nature, and breathtaking mountain views, this place is hard to surpass. One thing to note is the last 100–150 meters of the road leading to the homestay, which is in poor condition. If driving, a 4x4 or an experienced driver is recommended, especially with a standard hatchback or sedan. Alternatively, parking on the main road and walking a short distance to the homestay is an easy option. Overall, the stay was wonderful, and the amazing views, hospitality, and food more than make up for this small drawback. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Kausani.
