HAMPI HEARTLAND HERITAGE RESORT

Our stay was wonderful! Traveling with 14 family members, we found everything surpassed what we hoped for. The rooms offered plenty of space, were tidy, and very cozy. The spot is great, close to Anjanadri Hills, which made sightseeing easy.

Avoid this hotel — a very disappointing experience. The location feels like a slum area with a poorly marked entrance, making it difficult to find. The room quality does not match the price we paid; it seems worth no more than ₹1000 per night, but we were charged more. We booked a room that included breakfast, but upon arrival, we were told breakfast was not available because "there were no guests" to prepare it for. Even worse, they refused to refund the breakfast charge we had already paid. When we complained, the receptionist blamed the owner, saying she had no authority to fix the problem, and gave us a contact card instead of resolving the issue immediately. The management is poor, the advertised inclusions are false, and there is no accountability. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hampi. Photos of the road and hotel entrance are attached for reference.

terrible Experience

I recently stayed at Hampi Heartland Heritage Resort during my visit to Hampi. Overall, it was a nice experience, though there are some areas that could use improvement. The resort's atmosphere is calm and soothing, making it a great spot to relax after visiting Anjanadri Hill. The rooms are spacious, well-kept, and match the online pictures, which was reassuring. They are also well-ventilated, providing a comfortable and fresh environment throughout the stay. However, the road leading from the main road to the resort is narrow and in poor shape, making access a bit challenging, especially at night or for bigger vehicles. During rain, water tends to collect in the corridors and near room entrances. Another issue was the absence of a landline in the rooms; instead, guests get the mobile number of the room service staff. We had to call several times about the air conditioner and geyser because the main power switch for these had to be turned on by staff before the in-room switches worked. This could have been better explained at check-in or handled more smoothly. The rooms do not have televisions, which may or may not be important depending on personal preference. The food quality could also be better. Although the menu has a decent variety, the taste and overall quality did not match the prices. Improving quality and value would greatly enhance the dining experience. In summary, Hampi Heartland Heritage Resort offers a peaceful stay with clean, comfortable rooms and a nice ambiance. With better approach road conditions, rainwater drainage, guest support, and food quality, it could offer an even better experience. I would recommend it to travelers seeking a quiet and comfortable stay near Anjanadri Hill, Hampi, while keeping these points in mind.

Although the staff were polite, they were not attentive to our needs; despite asking several times, we did not receive an extra blanket. The toilet lights were out, and we were told to use the mirror light instead. The location is very close to Anjanadri hill, which is within walking distance.
