Hatti Eden

Our group of 14 stayed recently at Hatti Eden Resort. The rooms were tidy and clean, with a combination of 3/4-sharing cottages and an 8-sharing villa (3 rooms). The villa seemed newly constructed, although some washrooms still lacked exhaust fans. The resort features a cricket ground, table tennis, and foosball. Playing cricket was fun, but the ground requires better upkeep. The table tennis paddles also need to be replaced. The main issue was the food—quality, variety, presentation, and hygiene all need improvement. Options were limited, staff did not clearly explain the menu, and the cleanliness of plates and glasses was unsatisfactory. Service was average; there is no intercom or easy way to reach staff, so guests must go to the kitchen area for requests. Only soap was provided, so bring your own toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo. Towels and handwash were available and clean. Overall, the resort offers a peaceful setting and decent accommodation, but food quality and service require major improvements. If these are fixed, it could be a highly recommended place. Due to the food, I rated it 2/5 overall.
