Himalayan Eco Resort

My agent booked the cottage for three of us and it is too small for 3 people. After putting extra bed no place to move. We reached the hotel by 7pm and the only room left provided to us.1. TV was not working. After arguing for nearly 30 min they provided set top box which was not working. So again have to complain and after 1 hour or so they provided new one which was working but the tv was in poor condition and can not be watched due to big black patches on it. Answer given by agent (Navkaar Holiday) is that people go there to watch nature and not tv so why are you complaining. You can avoid Navkaar Holiday as well.2. Phone was dead so each time I need something I need to go to reception area. I was there for 2 days and it was not fixed.3. Hot water not there. I got up early to start early and have to wait for hot water for 1.5 hours. Hotel staff mentioned that hot water is shared with beside hotel and they used all the hot water. Finally got a hot water bucket and for another two buckets have to chase them as the staff doesn’t care about customers. Special mention that the manager (forgot to ask gentlemen name) was eager to help and was running everywhere to help us. Thanks to him. Overall avoid this hotel. There is much more nice options available nearby.3. Food was pathetic too

My agent booked a cottage for three people, but it was too small for us. After adding an extra bed, there was no space to move. We arrived at the hotel by 7 pm and were given the only room left. 1. The TV wasn't working. After arguing for about 30 minutes, they gave us a set-top box which also didn't work. After another complaint and about an hour, they provided a new one that worked, but the TV was in poor condition with large black patches making it unwatchable. The agent (Navkaar Holiday) said people come here to enjoy nature, not TV, so why complain. I suggest avoiding Navkaar Holiday. 2. The phone was dead, so I had to go to reception every time I needed something. It wasn't fixed during my 2-day stay. 3. There was no hot water. I woke up early and had to wait 1.5 hours for hot water. Staff said hot water is shared with the neighboring hotel and they used it all. I finally got a bucket of hot water but had to keep asking for more as staff seemed indifferent. The manager (name forgotten) was very helpful and tried hard to assist us. Thanks to him. Overall, avoid this hotel; there are better options nearby. 4. The food was also terrible.

No towels or mineral water provided, food was terrible, no heater in the room, management used insulting language, staff were unhelpful, and expired food was served.

Had the worst experience at this place in Ladakh. They actually have two hotels on the same property—this one and a 5-star hotel—and share the same staff. Unfortunately, they treat guests of this hotel as second-class customers. The staff seemed untrained and confused; one even entered my room and went straight into the bathroom without knocking. The food was just as bad. Although the property looks beautiful, you definitely feel like a lower priority here. Honestly, this was the worst stay of our Ladakh trip.

This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had, with poorly managed rooms and services, breakfast served as leftover dinner, and no hot water in the rooms. It feels like a third-rate hotel.
