I stayed at this hotel with my family from the evening of September 18th until the morning of September 19th. Our cab driver recommended this hotel, saying it was very close to the Ayodhya temple. Sadly, our stay was quite unsatisfactory. 1. Location: The hotel is not actually very near the Ayodhya temple. We had to take an e-rickshaw or auto to get there, so the location was not as convenient as we were told. 2. Electrical current in bathroom tap: The biggest issue was feeling an electric current through the bathroom tap water. We reported this serious safety problem to the hotel staff. Instead of fixing it, they just told us to take cold showers and avoid using the geyser. We asked for hot water for our children, but they refused to arrange anything else. This was very disappointing and raised serious safety concerns. 3. Noise and maintenance late at night: We planned to visit the temple early next day and went to bed around 10 PM. However, repair work was going on in a nearby room until about 11:30 PM. We had to complain to reception before it finally stopped. My main point is that if a hotel charges about ₹2,200 per night, guests should at least get basic amenities that work properly and safely. Also, polite and respectful staff behavior is a basic expectation in hospitality. Unfortunately, the management's careless attitude and some staff's rude behavior made our stay unpleasant. I hope the hotel management seriously considers this feedback and improves safety, maintenance, customer service, and overall guest experience going forward.

The owner responded only about the sachets being complimentary but ignored other issues. It seems the owner expects free money while causing guests headaches and safety hazards like electrical current in water, no water supply, and late-night construction noise. This reflects poorly on how the property is managed. Regarding the free items, there should be proper communication, not a staff member speaking with a mouth full of something unintelligible. Our stay at Hotel Fortune was very disappointing. The biggest concern was not just inconvenience but poor communication, lack of attention to guest safety, and the dismissive attitude when we raised valid issues. 1. There was a serious electrical safety issue in the bathroom. The tap water seemed to carry an electric current, which is dangerous especially for children and vulnerable guests. We were not warned about this, which is alarming. Such a hazard should be addressed proactively, not discovered by guests. When we told the manager, he just said not to turn on the geyser and offered no hot water alternative. 2. Water supply stopped around 10:30 PM for about half an hour, again without informing guests. Even temporary water outages should be clearly communicated, especially late at night when options are limited. 3. Construction and plumbing work went on until about 11:30 PM, disturbing guests. When we complained, management said it would stop in 10 minutes. Guests shouldn't have to repeatedly complain about noisy work so late. 4. There was an unexplained limit on tea and milk powder sachets. When we asked for a second serving, staff member Abhishek Yadav refused, saying these were provided only once every 24 hours. He couldn't show any policy about this. If this is a real policy, it should be clearly communicated to guests, not imposed without explanation. 5. The staff's dismissive attitude was the worst part. When we said we'd mention our experience in a Google review, Abhishek Yadav responded with a dismissive "yes, yes, you can put it" and waved his hands, showing that guest feedback is not taken seriously. Hotel management needs to seriously improve safety measures, guest communication, and how staff handle complaints. Guests should feel safe and respected, not ignored when raising real concerns.
