Solo Traveller • Aug 2026The best thing about Hari Dhara is its location—it's very close to the ghat. The food is excellent, the staff are warm and helpful, and the owner is genuinely courteous. Their hospitality is the reason I would consider staying here again.However, reaching the hotel is a hassle. Cars don't reach the property and have to be parked around 3 km away. Even after taking a rickshaw, you'll still need to walk about 1 km with your luggage through the crowded market. The hotel is also not easy to find, especially at night, and it's quite easy to miss the narrow lane if you're a first-time visitor.Great for the location and hospitality, but not for convenience. I wouldn't recommend it if you're travelling with elderly people or heavy luggage. If you know what to expect, it's a good stay.
