The staff, especially the team from Jharkhand, were excellent—friendly, genuinely helpful, and always ready to assist. The food was another highlight, with fresh, tasty meals that made the stay even better. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Overall, it’s a great place to slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and experience the peaceful side of Hunder.**Could be better:**There aren’t many activities or entertainment options within the property, and there is limited scope for social interaction or organized events. The pricing is also slightly on the higher side compared with what the overall facilities offer. One practical issue is that Google Maps shows an incorrect route to the property, so finding it can be a little confusing—you’ll need to be a bit street-smart and ask around to locate the entrance.**Overall:** A beautiful and peaceful stay with excellent staff, great food, and a wonderful natural setting. Best suited for travellers who value comfort and tranquillity over activities and nightlife.

Nestled in a quiet location, Hunder Haven feels more like a small garden retreat than a typical hotel. The setting is beautiful, with single-storey cottages featuring both front and rear verandas, wide walkways, and plenty of comfortable seating areas. I especially loved the colorful outdoor furniture, which made it a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beds came with thick, warm blankets that were perfect for Hunder’s cool nights.The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Meals were simple but tasty, with enough variety for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and cozy place to unwind after a day of exploring Nubra Valley.

Jain food options are offered, and the room was large enough to comfortably fit three guests.

Our stay at Hunder Haven was wonderful. The caretakers were kind and accommodating. The meals were delicious and the rooms cozy. I would suggest this place for a brief visit to Nubra Valley.

A very pleasant and straightforward spot. The rooms and facilities are well maintained. What really makes a difference are the two caretakers who look after the property and guests exceptionally well. The food prepared was basic yet tasty. Strongly recommended.
