Wish I could rate more than 5 star for this property. Stayed for a day ..They were excellent in terms of hospitality. Service was great, quick and every staff members were very polite. Location and property is very well maintained and photogenic, room were neat and food was tasty... Feel free to book without a doubt..

Extremely Poor Experience Not Recommended At AllThis is by far one of the worst resorts in Almora. The management is extremely poor, and there is a severe shortage of staff. The entire property is handled by fewer than five people, which clearly affects service quality.The geyser capacity is very small and the hot water stops midway during bathing. Rooms are not properly cleaned, and overall hygiene standards are unacceptable. Most importantly, the property does not feel safe at all due to minimal staff presence and very few guests staying there.Because of the low occupancy, breakfast is served ?? la carte instead of a buffet, and the food experience is also disappointing. At night, the property gives very negative and uncomfortable vibes. Towels provided are of very poor quality.I strongly request travelers not to book this property based solely on photos or videos shown on Google. The actual experience is completely different. The management quality is barely one star’OYO rooms provide far better service than this place.Please avoid booking this property.

Second time here, and honestly, probably the last. Imagine driving 400 km to this property only to be told they won’t clean your car—just the outside—because ‘it’s not their job.’ The way it was said? Rude. For context, this isn’t our first trip, and having stayed at plenty of places across India and abroad, I know this is a basic courtesy most properties in India offer without fuss.Now, about the water bottles (see pics):1. Charged at double the market price.2. No clarity on what’s complimentary, and no labeling on the bottles.When we asked at checkout, the response was: ‘READ Agoda properly.’ So apparently, next time you book, make sure you study Agoda’s terms and conditions—because according to them, it’s Agoda’s job, not the property’s.Bottom line: If you value transparency and basic hospitality, think twice before booking here.

I recently visited Hotel Imperial in Kasar Devi, and I must say it’s a beautiful property. The infrastructure is impressive, but what truly makes a place special is its staff and service and this hotel stands out in that.I met Mr. Krishan, who took the time to show me around the entire property, even though I told him I wasn’t staying there this time. His warm attitude, patience, and professionalism really impressed me. Spending 15’20 minutes explaining everything so politely shows the high service standards of the hotel.I couldn’t stay this time, but I will definitely choose this place on my next visit and recommend it to my friends and family.Thank you, Krishan bhaiya, for such a great experience. The hotel is located right on the main road with a good amount of parking space, which was convenient. However, the experience went downhill from the moment we arrived. There was no one at the front desk to assist us during check-in, and when we finally got our room, it wasn’t clean. We had to ask the staff to come and clean it after checking in, which was quite disappointing.The intercom in the room was useless — no one ever picked up our calls. On top of that, the hotel charges for extra water bottles, giving just one liter free, which felt unreasonable considering we paid around 9,000 for the room.The views from the property were actually nice, but that’s pretty much the only positive part. The restaurant was poorly managed — old and dirty mats on the tables, and even the food containers had visible stains. The overall cleanliness and upkeep were nowhere near what you’d expect from a resort.Staff behavior was just okay, not rude but not warm either. Overall, it didn’t feel like we were staying at a “resort.” For the price we paid, the experience was underwhelming.
