A stunning location on the Konark-Puri Marine Drive. The most romantic dinner spot near Konark! If you are looking for the best place for a dinner date in Odisha, this is it! We had an unforgettable evening at Lotus Eco Resort. The seating arrangement near the beach at Lotus Eco Resort makes for an elite dining experience. Sitting right beside the sea, feeling the cool sea breeze, and listening to the waves while dining is a magical experience. The combination of the cool air and the sound of the ocean creates a vibe that is purely romantic. The atmosphere is also incredibly peaceful. It’s the perfect escape from the city for a special night out. Highly recommended for couples! Whether it’s an anniversary or evenif just a quiet dinner, the setting beside the Ramachandi beach is unbeatable. Truly a 5-star experience for the soul!

This is my favorite spot. The food here is absolutely finger-licking good. Staying here gives you deep peace and calm, and the atmosphere feels nothing short of heaven. Whenever life stresses me out, I come here to relax. Whether it’s day or night, you’ll always find pure serenity.You can come alone, or with family or friends either way, you’ll enjoy yourself fully and feel cheerful throughout. The unique charm of this eco resort is where the river meets the sea; that’s its secret magic.It’s the best place in Odisha, on the Puri’Konark Marine Drive. Truly, this will remain my favorite place for a lifetime.

I recently visited Lotus Eco Retreat (also known as Lotus Eco Resort / Lotus an Eco Resort) in Ramchandi, near Konark, Puri, Odisha, and unfortunately had a highly disappointing experience, primarily due to serious hygiene and food safety issues.The staff appeared unprofessional and quite uncooperative, which made the overall stay uncomfortable.The food served looked and smelled old/stale, raising major red flags about freshness. There was a persistent bad odor in the dining area, and the place was full of flies and insects buzzing around the tables while we were eating ’ completely unacceptable for any restaurant or resort.Most shockingly, I personally saw a cat licking used plates in the premises. This level of unhygienic practice is dangerous and should never happen in a food-serving establishment.I also overheard a dispute at a nearby table about the bad smell and quality of the food they were served, which only confirmed that these weren’t isolated issues.While the location near Ramchandi Beach is scenic (beautiful eco-cottages and sea views in many photos online), the poor hygiene and food safety standards completely ruined the experience and posed real health concerns.Urgent improvements are needed in kitchen hygiene, pest control, staff training, and overall cleanliness. We had booked a sea view cottage thru MMT and the stay was a nice experience as the cottage was quite close to the river that connects to the sea; beach was very close and you have access to the beach. Rooms were tidy, but very compact (could have been a bit bigger). Bathroom was clean and neat, towels provided were clean too. Bedsheets were tidy. Breakfast served was quite elaborate and tasty. Food served in their beach restaurant was quite good; location of this restaurant was excellent. Pure vegetarians will have challenges staying here as the restaurant serves mixed food; there are no other restaurants in close proximity. Happy sufficient car parking outside the resort; no facilities extended for drivers here. Room service is slow and it's much better to have food in the restaurant. Check out time is very early 10 am!! Overall a great experience ’?
