This resort is excellent! Not only because of the location but the overall staff and food quality. The people are so warm, welcoming and happy to help it sets the benchmark high as true Sikkim hospitality which is unmatched across the world. Manager Suresh along with the other hotel staffs are always at your service. The property has its own view point which is exquisite and also a farm with jungle trail. The view of kanchenzdonga is absolutely breath-taking only if the weather bless you with the sight. Unfortunately we did not get the glimpse this time but we will certainly return to this property on November. Keep up the Brilliant Hospitality Mandarin Resort.

I recently stayed for two days at this hotel during my solo travel in a remote village in Sikkim, and although I unfortunately didn’t note down the name of staff, the experience is something I won’t forget.The property itself was peaceful and surrounded by stunning natural beauty, but what truly made the stay special were the people. Every single member of the staff was incredibly humble, simple, and genuinely friendly. Their warmth and sincerity made me feel less like a guest and more like someone they were happy to host.In a place so far from the rush of city life, their kindness stood out even more. It was a quiet, comforting experience that I would gladly relive. I hope to return one day’and this time, remember the name.

4 of our family stayed at this resort (super dlx cottage,upper floor)for 2 nights, 25/02/26 & 26/02/26. The resort premises itself is extremely beautiful but the rooms didn't give us the feel of luxury & quality that was expected from such resort.Room was really big though, with all the amenities expected.Food quality was okayish.The location is below Kaluk bazar and the the road to the resort is narrow and very steep.The main plus point of this resort is it's beautifully landscaped area(it's huge),view and good service.All the staffs are very courteous and helpful.

I've been to this place in 2010. Back then this used to be an idyllic little nook with lush gardens and sparsely built rooms and cottages. We stayed in a family group in 3 separate cottages for 3 nights and enjoyed the stay very much. Now the place is overbuilt. Most of the open space is gone. In it's place a conference hall, bar and a covered greenhouse have come up, which to my mind added little value. The gardens and lemon trees are now overgrown, the pathways slippery with moss. The cottages have grown vertically too, all now being double storey. The cottages have sloping roofs with rusting sheets. Everywhere the lack of maintenance is evident. This property is fast degrading into shabbiness
