Moksha Riverside

Moksha Riverside Resort, Kasol is a decent and beautiful property with a very convenient location. The room size is perfect and the balcony offers a lovely river view. Early in the morning, you can relax across the river at the sit-outs and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The food is good, but the breakfast spread is limited. Overall, it is a nice place for a stay along with lunch and dinner.

Stayed at Moksha Resort in early February with friends. We paid around ’50k for three rooms for two nights, but the experience was terrible. One night there was no electricity, no water, and no staff at reception. We kept calling but no one answered, and one of my friends was unwell with no help available. The next morning the manager was rude and argumentative instead of apologizing. Extremely unprofessional and unsafe experience. Would not recommend.

Located between Manikaran and Kasol market, this is a beautiful property. Rooms are well-maintained and service is top notch. You can take a short walk to a part of the Parvati river from their outdoor cafeteria.We stayed for four days and also witnessed a spectacular snowfall from this hotel. The following morning, the staff diligently cleaned off the floors to prevent potential accidents.Food was great and service was prompt. Every single staff went above and beyond to cater to our requirements.Highly recommended!!

I strongly advise thinking twice before booking here. I requested a cancellation five days prior to check-in due to a medical emergency with my child, but the management showed zero flexibility. More disappointing than the rigid policy was the staff's conduct; they were dismissive and arrogant over the phone. They clearly prioritize short-term business over basic customer service and support.Update for replyThe hotel's statement is not true.I spoke to MakeMyTrip (MMT) customer care, and they confirmed they were ready to process the cancellation.The MMT agent explained that they contacted the hotel for final approval, but the hotel management refused the cancellation.The blame is with the hotel's management, not MMT they are trying to escape from responsibility.
