Excellent resort with very good food quality

We stayed here through an official corporate deal after the floods in Sibsagar. Our company paid about ₹3,300 daily per person, including all meals. Sadly, the experience was very disappointing, mainly because of the unequal treatment of guests on the corporate package. For most of our stay, we couldn't eat in the main restaurant and had to eat in a banquet hall that smelled bad. Breakfast was the same every day for nearly five days, with no omelettes, bread, cornflakes, or fruits, even though these were served to other guests in the restaurant. Lunch and dinner were also disappointing. At first, we got only vegetarian food with one vegetable dish, often potato-based. Only after many complaints from guests did the menu improve. The weekends were worse. The hotel clearly prioritized walk-in diners, leaving corporate guests waiting. On some days, dinner was served around 10:00 PM, after regular restaurant customers finished. True hospitality shows in tough times, but our experience suggested profit was more important than fair service. The difference in food quality, menu variety, dining setup, and attention to corporate guests was upsetting. I recommend future guests, especially those on corporate packages, to check meal arrangements in advance. From our experience, hospitality and food quality were far below expectations.

I went to this hotel with my family, and the dining experience was really bad. The food was not good, and the staff and managers were not nice. The worst thing was how the staff and managers acted. We had kids with us, but instead of being friendly, the managers were rude and angry. They would not let us sit in the main dining area because of the kids, saying they might be noisy.
