1 Star – Extremely Disappointing ExperienceI booked a cottage through Agoda for 3,000 for one night, expecting at least basic cleanliness, hygiene and hospitality. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.The washroom was dirty and did not even have an exhaust fan. Basic amenities such as towels, a dental kit and a shower kit were also missing. I contacted the reception, but received no proper response. I then contacted Lal Singh from the sales team, after which two towels were sent to the cottage—but even those towels were dirty.The cottage also had a large number of flies and mosquitoes, making it very uncomfortable to stay. In fact, even while writing this review, mosquitoes were still having their meal!When I requested a cottage change, the front desk refused, saying that the housekeeping staff had already left. This was particularly disappointing because several cottages were vacant at the time, and many of them remained vacant even during the night. Despite having vacant cottages available, the management still refused to change the cottage.There was also considerable disturbance from JCB/excavator-type heavy machinery during the daytime, either within or around the property, which further affected the overall experience.Overall, the property failed on basic cleanliness, hygiene, room maintenance, amenities and guest service. For 3,000 for one night, this was nowhere close to the standard I expected from a resort.Very poor guest handling and an extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend this property unless the management takes serious steps to improve its housekeeping, maintenance, hygiene and customer service.
