Solo Traveller • Sep 2026This is the top property in Sonamarg and the closest branded hotel to the famous Thajwas Glacier. If you love food or want to try the best local dishes, be sure to order the Grilled Rainbow Trouts, Guchhi Biryani or Pulao, and Kaladi Kulcha. Also, consider staying in the Bear-View Rooms, even if they cost a bit more, because almost every night between 10 pm and midnight, a large female brown bear about 7.5 feet long with her two cubs visits the hotel grounds. For your safety, please avoid going out in the dark or getting too close to the bears, and always follow the hotel security guards' instructions.

Solo Traveller • Sep 2026Neat and clean property. Great views. Approach road is not the best as it is the same road that goes to Thajiwas Glaciar with Horses. Not much to do in property as such. Less open area however if you wanna enjoy a comfortable stay, dont look beyond the property. It is amazing.

Our dining experience at Radisson Sonamarg was fantastic. The dinner featured tasty dishes of high quality, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We especially appreciate Mr. Sahil from the F&B team for his friendly, professional, and attentive care, which enhanced our meal. Breakfast was also enjoyable, offering a good selection and quick service. Overall, we are very satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel.
