My stay at Salt Life was very underwhelming and did not live up to expectations. The photos listed across booking platforms are quite misleading compared to reality. I booked their top-tier category—the Sea View Room—paying around INR ***per night, but the experience simply did not justify the steep price tag.For starters, the room was substantially smaller in person than depicted online. To make matters worse, the hotel reception is on the second floor, and our room was situated directly adjacent to it. You can clearly hear all the lobby commotion, and conversations carry both ways, completely compromising your privacy. Even relaxing peacefully on the balcony at night was frustrating, as the balcony lights are controlled directly from the front desk. Despite multiple requests to switch them off, the staff only finally did so after 10:00 PM.The service flexibility was equally disappointing. On the morning of our departure, we needed to head out around 8:00 AM and requested if our breakfast could be packed to go, but the staff flatly refused. This wasn't during a morning rush—I was literally the only guest present in the entire dining area. A basic courtesy like a packed breakfast shouldn't be too much to ask from a property charging luxury rates.To be fair, the room was kept clean, the breakfast food itself was good, and the location is convenient if you need quick access to the jetty, which is barely a kilometer away. However, unless having a sea view at all costs is your absolute only criterion, I would not recommend this property. It is heavily overpriced for the underwhelming experience and rigid hospitality you receive.

Spotless rooms, great view, neat bathrooms, and a delicious breakfast! The friendly staff was the cherry on top. A perfect stay.
