I recently visited the restaurant at Hotel Orchid, Jharsuguda, with my entire team, and we had an absolutely wonderful time!The ambiance is superb’it's elegant, clean, and provided a perfect setting for a team lunch (or dinner). The peaceful and well-maintained property grounds definitely add to the overall feeling.The food quality was truly exceptional. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious, well-prepared, and served fresh. The menu has great variety, catering to everyone in our group.What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and professional, ensuring our large group was comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. The hotel was good. I stayed in the hotel room number 213 and my friend and his family in room number 211 from 17.10.25 to 18.10.25. But the reception staff's behaviour was horrible. I along with my friend, his wife and daughter were travelling from Pune to Ranchi and for a night stay we went to the hotel. At reception, Mr. Gopal Pathak, if i remember the name correctly, told us that couples are not allowed at the hotel. We felt so shocked and embraced. How can a person in the service sector deal in such an amateur way, without establishing the relation among the guests. We told the matter to the in charge, whose name I don't remember. He took the matter lightly and said it is the hotel's protocol. I am a frequent traveler and have never come across such a pathetic situation in any hotel. After realising their mistakes, they never bothered to apologise also. Horrible and pathetic soft skills of the front line staff.

This is a wonderful hotel conveniently located right beside the Biju Expressway. The rooms are spotless and well-maintained. The food is absolutely delicious, offering a great variety. What stood out the most was the staff ’ they are extremely supportive and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. I strongly recommend this place for both families and business travelers.
