Disappointing Stay
2.0
1/5 Stars especially to the restaurant manager rahul. Absolutely pathetic. This is, without question, one of the worst hospitality experiences I have had in over 15 years of travelling internationally. While the property has a beautiful view, unfortunately that is where the positives end.The staff were consistently unhelpful, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. Simple questions were either ignored or met with attitude. The level of incompetence displayed by certain members of the team was honestly astonishing. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome and valued; here, it felt like guests were treated as an inconvenience. The most unbelievable incident occurred when food service was effectively refused over the absence of a specific type of cutlery. Rather than finding a practical solution, staff chose to argue and create unnecessary conflict. I have never encountered something so absurd at any hotel or resort, regardless of category. The chef himself appeared reasonable, but the rest of the service experience was so poor that it completely overshadowed any effort made by the kitchen. To make matters worse, many of the facilities used to market this property are either inaccessible or unavailable. Guests are encouraged to book based on amenities such as the spa, gym, and pool, yet during my stay these facilities could not be properly accessed. This feels extremely misleading and significantly reduces the value of the stay. What should have been a relaxing family getaway became a frustrating and disappointing experience because of the staff's behaviour and the resort's inability to deliver on basic hospitality standards. The view is stunning, but views alone do not make a resort. There are countless hotels in the area offering similar scenery with far better service, professionalism, and respect for their guests.I would strongly recommend that travellers avoid this property and look elsewhere. I certainly will never return.Absolutely ignorant and dismissive reply by you guys, there have been similar bad reviews, not everyone can have the same issue where you just acknowledge it and don't do anything about it.

Had a wonderful stay at Timber Trail Heights & Terraces. The breathtaking valley views, serene surroundings, and unique cable car experience made our trip truly memorable. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was courteous and always ready to help. The food was delicious, and the overall ambience was perfect for a relaxing getaway with family. A great place to unwind amidst nature.

2.0
All hype and an outer shell. A monopoly that doesn't care about guests. This was my first and last time staying here. We booked because of all the hype, but quickly realized it’s all surface-level attraction with zero care for the actual guest experience.Incompetent Booking Team: Strongly advise checking all terms and conditions before dealing with them. They demand everything in advance and have a terrible habit of mincing words later to deny communications. For example, we were promised "complimentary spa," which we later found out only meant "access" to enter the spa area’you still have to pay full price for any treatments unless you are in a specific Moksha booking. The Ropeway Monopoly: They are completely playing a monopoly game because no other hotel has a ropeway. Be warned: the heights/terrace spa is only approachable via the ropeway, and you are only allowed one round trip (to & fro) per day included with your room. Any extra trips require additional charges.Trapped on Location: Because there are no local markets or outside restaurants nearby, you are entirely trapped at the property.Disappointing Food: The food is just okayish. They offer a buffet, but it takes absolute ages for the staff to refill the food pots once they run out.Overall, it is overly expensive for the poor facilities and rigid service they offer.Book at your own risk.

View was good, good food but expensive. Breakfast was amazing and included in tariff. Cable car was also a great... Staff is well trained professional.... Overall it was good... Many free indoor games. They have paid outdoor games as well again expensive...People were smoking in open which I didn't like.

Overall a good experience. The cable car ride to the resort is the highlight and the views from the top are beautiful. Fresh air, peaceful surroundings, and amazing sunrise and sunset views. Food was good with a decent variety. They also have many complimentary indoor activities like table tennis, snooker, air hockey, foosball, cricket, carrom, chess, and ludo which is great for families and kids. There are also outdoor activities but most of them are paid. However, the resort feels quite expensive for what you get. Rooms are okay but don’t expect a very luxurious stay. The building also looks a bit old in places with cracks on walls and some paint chipping.Snack prices in the shops are extremely high. I bought 2 Oreo packets and 1 Pringles can and it cost ’670, and they didn’t even provide an invoice. If you only want to experience the cable car and enjoy the scenery, there’s also a package where they take you up and bring you back down after around 2 hours (around ’1000’’1200 per person, not completely sure).Overall worth visiting for the cable car ride and views.
