I recently stayed at Vasundhara Paradise, Puri. Overall, the stay was okay considering the low room tariff, but there are several points that travelers should know before booking. ❌ Negative points1. Location is quite far from the main tourist areas. Swargadwar Beach and the Lighthouse are not within convenient walking distance. You may need to spend around 150–200 for an auto/toto to reach the beach and nearby market area. For visiting Jagannath Temple, you may again need to spend approximately 150–200.2. There is no proper market nearby, so getting basic necessities can be inconvenient.3. There are very few good eating options around the hotel.4. The room is too small. The usable/accessibility area felt to be around 60–70 sq. ft.5. There is no balcony or proper space for drying wet clothes, which can be inconvenient after returning from the beach.6. The approach/entrance road is a major drawback. Water remains stagnant near the entrance, there were many snails on the road, and part of the approach is still a mud road. This gives a poor first impression.7. From the time of booking until check-out I called several times, but they did not receive the call for a single time. even though a contact number was provided in the booking acknowledgement. They replied once at WA. ✅ Positive points1. Staff behavior was good and polite.2. The room and washroom were neat and clean.3. Generator/power backup facility is available.Overall Experience:Considering the price of around 500–550 per night, the hotel is okay for a budget stay, especially if your main priority is keeping accommodation costs low.However, if you are looking for a comfortable stay, convenient location, nearby food/market options, and easy access to the beach and temple, I would not recommend this property. The location and approach road are the biggest drawbacks.

I stayed here for 3 days. Considering the price, the overall stay was quite good. However, there was no room service and no lift available, which may be inconvenient for some guests.That said, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay, this is definitely a good option.
