Dear Agoda Team,I am extremely disappointed with my recent booking experience at VITS Hotel, Dwarka.I booked two rooms through Agoda—one Suite Room and one Standard Room. We were 4 adults, but due to a technical issue during the booking process, the first attempt to book the suite room failed. When I booked it again, I didn’t notice that the number of adults had changed to 3 instead of 4. This was an unintentional mistake caused by the booking process.I immediately tried to contact Agoda customer support several times, but no one answered my calls. If customer support is unavailable when customers need help, then there is no point in providing a call service.I also requested the hotel to correct the booking, but they refused and charged me 1,200 extra for the additional adult.The problems did not end there. After checking in at around 5:00 PM, the electricity in our suite room went off at around 11:00 PM due to a short circuit. We were unable to sleep comfortably. The hotel offered another room, but it had a strong paint smell and was not suitable to stay in. They told us to either adjust in that room or wait until the electricity was restored because no other rooms were available.At that late hour, Agoda customer support was again unavailable. We had no one to help us resolve the issue. The hotel staff even told us not to disturb their boss because he was sleeping and suggested that next time we should book directly with the hotel instead of using Agoda.During checkout, I also paid 300 for a sandwich, 1,200 extra due to the booking issue, and around 2,000 for breakfast.This experience has completely destroyed my trust in online hotel booking. I paid for a suite room expecting comfort and quality, but instead I faced booking errors, poor customer support, additional charges, and a sleepless night due to the room’s electrical problem.Thank you, Agoda and VITS Hotel, for teaching me that booking directly with a hotel is a much safer option. I sincerely hope Agoda improves its customer support and booking system so that other customers do not have to go through the same frustrating experience.
We had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay at VITS Kamat Devbhumi in July with our family. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay very pleasant. The staff was courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. We also enjoyed the food at the hotel. The meals were fresh, tasty, and offered a good variety, making it convenient to dine with family without having to go elsewhere. The location is convenient for visiting the major attractions in Dwarka, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly. Our experience was smooth from check-in to check-out. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend VITS Kamat Devbhumi to anyone visiting Dwarka with family.
