Disappointing Noisy Stay

We were travelling by train, and we stopped for one night in Madgaon, we didn’t have reservation, but we enter to see this hotel because it was just in front of the train station. I was looking on internet the prices announced by this hotel, and they charge us more than that after they discuss for at least five minutes in hindi, they were discussing how much would they charge us, so we had the feeling they just charged whatever they wanted. The room was ok, but nothing really special, it was really noisy. We could not sleep well. Also with what they charge us, I expected at least WiFi on our room, but not. They only have WiFi in the ’lobby’ that are two sofas near the entrance with a lot of mosquitoes flying around and a lot of smoke from the street because they keep the doors open all the time. So, I will definitely not recommend it at all.

Noise & Breakfast Fail

I’m giving this one star because I either got a good breakfast nor a good sleep.Sleep : I stayed in the room that was facing the railway station and whole night There was loud sounds from the train whistle and engine. The purpose of getting a room is to have a good sleep and I haven’t got what I paid for. The rooms otherwise are spotless, clean and well maintained so if you do not mind the noise, this hotel is definitely great considering the proximity to the railway station. Since the room is close to railway station, there should be a consideration on soundproofing.Breakfast : please do not book their complementary breakfast. It is the worst breakfast I have ever had in my travel history. The Madu Vada was soaked in oil. The Aloo Bonda was taken directly from the fridge and given to us without even heating, the tea was tasteless. I was not sure whether it was a tea or milk with some brown color.Requesting the Management to please work on the breakfast as soon as possible and whoever is looking at this review, here is my advice. Please do not book their complimentary breakfast and try to get a room that is not facing the railway station.
