In a bid to ensure convenient travel for all passengers during Holi, the Indian Railways has decided to run a number of special trains.

These trains will operate on important routes such as New Delhi – Darbhanga, Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur, Mumbai and Mau, etc.

A) For the benefit of passengers, 26 special trains will run from New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Ernakulam to various East Central Railway stations such as Patna, Muzaffarpur, and Barauni.

> Train no. 04048 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur Festival Special Express will operate on 12th, 16th and 19th March.
> Train no. 04047 Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar Festival Special Express will operate on 13th, 17th and 20th March.
> Train no. 04060 Anand Vihar – Jaynagar Festival Special Express will operate on 11th, 15th and 18th March.
> Train no. 04059 Jaynagar – Anand Vihar Festival Special Express will operate on 12th, 16th and 19th March.
> Train no. 04064 Anand Vihar – Jogbani Festival Special Express will operate on 12th and 19th March.
> Train no. 04063 Jogbani – Anand Vihar Festival Special Express will operate on 14th and 21st March.
> Train no. 04070 Anand Vihar – Sitamarhi Festival Special Express will operate on 12th, 15th and 19th March.
> Train no. 04069 Sitamarhi – Anand Vihar Festival Special Express will operate on 13th, 16th and 20th March.
> Train no. 04068 New Delhi – Darbhanga Reserved Festival Special Express will operate on 14th, 17th and 21st March.
> Train no. 04067 Darbhanga – New Delhi Reserved Festival Special Express will operate on 15th, 18th and 22nd March.

होली के अवसर पर यात्रियों की सुविधा हेतु नई दिल्ली, मुंबई, कोलकाता, एर्णाकुलम से पटना,मुजफ्फरपुर, बरौनी सहित पूर्व मध्य रेल के विभिन्न स्टेशनों के लिए 26 स्पेशल ट्रेनों का परिचालन।

B) To accommodate the increase in demand due to the festival rush, the Northern Railway will run 9 Holi special trains. Below are the details:

C) The Central Railway will run 14 more special Holi trains between Mumbai and Mau, Pune and Karmali, Panvel and Karmali, and Mumbai and Danapur.
