India’s 7th Vande Bharat Express Likely To Be Flagged Off Soon

West Bengal is likely to get a wonderful New Year gift in the form of a Vande Bharat Express. As per the sources, this new train will be flagged off by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 30th December 2022. It will run between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri, and will shorten the travel time between both the stations.

This Vande Bharat Express is expected to be faster than the current Shatabdi Express which runs on the route, and is likely to boost tourism in the region.

It will be the seventh Vande Bharat Express in the country and the first one in Eastern India. So far, all the six Vande Bharat trains have been flagged off by PM Narendra Modi. The routes of the other servicesare New Delhi–Varanasi, New Delhi–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (J&K), Gandhinagar–Mumbai, New Delhi–Amb Andaura (Himachal Pradesh), Chennai–Mysuru and Nagpur–Bilaspur.
