Railways Adds Halts to Trains, Extends Routes

In order to facilitate greater convenience to train passengers, the Indian Railways has decided to add stoppages at key stations for multiple services. It has also extended the route of one train. Scroll down to know more about these updates.

> The North Western Railway notified about adding a stoppage at Gaya Station for two services. 

Train no. 12259 Sealdah–Bikaner Duronto Express will halt at Gaya at 11:10 PM until 6th April. 

Train no. 12260 Bikaner–Sealdah Duronto Express will halt at Gaya at 6:47 AM until 6th April.

> The Northern Railway also made an announcement about introducing a stoppage. 

The following six trains will halt at Pokhrayan for six months:  

> The South Central Railway has enhanced connectivity in the zone by extending the route of an important service. 

Train no. 17216 Dharmavaram–Vijayawada Express will now run till Machilipatnam. The new service was flagged off on 14th February and is expected to boost tourism in the region.
