Railways Announces Cancellation, Diversion of 30+ Trains

Due to traffic blocks and non-interlocking work, various zones and divisions of Indian Railways announced the cancellation, diversion and rescheduling of numerous trains. Scroll down for further details.

Passengers are requested to take note of the affected train schedules and make necessary arrangements accordingly.

> The South Central Railway has cancelled the following services: 

1. Train nos. 17267/17268 Kakinada Port–Visakhapatnam–Kakinada Port MEMU Express on 8th September.

2. Train nos. 17257/17258 Vijayawada–Kakinada Port–Vijayawada MEMU Express on 8th September.

3. Train nos. 12705/12706 Guntur–Secunderabad–Guntur Intercity Superfast Express from 8th to 20th September. 

> The Northeast Frontier Railway shared a list of 14 trains that will be cancelled, diverted and rescheduled. 

These services operate on popular routes, such as Jogbani–Kolkata, Delhi–Kamakhya and Guwahati–Secunderabad. For the complete information, here’s the official tweet:

> The North Eastern Railway confirmed the cancellation of three pairs of services: 

1. Train no. 13105 Sealdah–Ballia Express will be cancelled from 13th to 16th September. 

2. Train no. 13106 Ballia–Sealdah Express will be cancelled from 14th to 17th September. 

3. Train no. 15050 Gorakhpur–Kolkata Express will be cancelled on 14th September. 

4. Train no. 15047 Kolkata–Gorakhpur Express will be cancelled on 15th September. 

5. Train no. 15052 Gorakhpur–Kolkata Express will be cancelled on 15th September.

6. Train no. 15051 Kolkata–Gorakhpur Express will be cancelled on 16th September. 

> The North Western Railway announced the cancellation of four trains: 

1. Train no. 19608 Madar–Kolkata Express will be cancelled on 12th September. 

2. Train no. 19607 Kolkata–Madar Express will be cancelled on 15th September.

3. Train no. 12988 Ajmer–Sealdah Superfast Express will be cancelled from 13th to 15th September. 

4. Train no. 12987 Sealdah–Ajmer Superfast Express will be cancelled from 14th to 16th September.
