Railways Cancels Multiple Trains due to Maintenance Constraints

Train travellers, attention!

Owing to weather conditions, maintenance activities and other constraints, the Indian Railways declared that many train services will be partially and fully cancelled.

Passengers are requested to take note of the affected train schedules and make necessary arrangements accordingly. Scroll down for further details.

> The North Western Railway notified about the cancellation of the following trains: 

  • Train no. 14525 Ambala Cantt.–Shri Ganganagar Intercity Express will be cancelled from 15th to 24th January. 
  • Train no. 14526 Shri Ganganagar–Ambala Cantt. Intercity Express will be cancelled from 15th to 24th January. 
  • Train no 14735 Shri Ganganagar–Ambala Cantt. Express will be partially cancelled between Bathinda and Ambala Cantt. from 15th to 24th January. 
  • Train no 14736 Ambala Cantt.–Shri Ganganagar Express will be partially cancelled between Ambala Cantt. and Bathinda from 16th to 25th January.

> The North Eastern Railway announced that the following two trains will be affected until further notice because of suspended traffic operations on the Pamban Bridge

  • Train no. 22535 Rameswaram–Banaras Express will be partially cancelled between Rameswaram and Mandapam.
  • Train no. 22536 Banaras–Rameswaram Express will be partially cancelled between Mandapam and Rameswaram.

> The East Central Railway shared details of four trains that will be cancelled due to the onset of fog. 

These cancellations will be in effect until 28th February. Here are the details: 

  • Train no. 03649 Buxar–Banaras Special
  • Train no. 03650 Banaras–Buxar Special
  • Train no. 03359 Barka Kana–Varanasi Special 
  • Train no. 03360 Varanasi–Barka Kana Special 

> The Northern Railway released a list of six services that will undergo cancellation in view of a mega traffic block in the zone.
