In a bid to ensure convenient travel for all the passengers during Holi, Indian Railways has decided to run a number of special trains.
Northern Railways has announced four new trains that will take passengers from New Delhi to Bihar, Nizamuddin to Pune, Anand Vihar to Kamakhya and Anand Vihar to Patna.
New Delhi to Barauni (Bihar)
The train will start from 12th March and will be operational till 22th March, 2019. It will leave from New Delhi Railway Station every Tuesday and Friday at 7:25 PM and will reach Barauni Junction the next day at 7:45 PM.
From Barauni, the same train will be available between 13th March and 23rd March, 2019, every Wednesday and Saturday. It will leave from Barauni Junction at 9:35 PM and will reach New Delhi the next evening at 10:10 PM.
Halt Stations — Muradabad, Bareily, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Devariya Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzzafarpur and Samastipur.
Nizamuddin to Pune
The train will start from 12th March and will be operational till 26th March, 2019. It will start its journey from Nizamuddin Railway Station every Tuesday at 9:35 PM and will reach Pune Railways Station the next day in the evening at 9:25 PM.
From Pune, the same train will be available between 14th March and 28th March, 2019, every Thursday. It will leave from Pune station at 5:15 AM in the morning and will reach Nizamuddin the next day in the morning at 5:35 AM.
Halt Stations — Mathura, Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan and Lonavala.
Anand Vihar to Patna
The train would start from 16th March and will be operational till 23rd March 2019. It will leave from Anand Vihar Railway Station every Saturday at 12 AM and will reach Patna station the next day in the evening at 6:00 PM.
From Patna, the same train will be available between 16th March and 23rd March 2019, every Saturday. It will leave from Patna station at 7:35 PM in the evening and will reach Anand Vihar the next afternoon at 2:20 PM.
Halt Stations — Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction (Mughalsarai), Buxar and Arrah.
Anand Vihar to Kamakhya
The train will run between 13th March and 20th March 2019. It will leave Anand Vihar Railway Station every Wednesday at 11:45 PM and will reach Kamakhya station the next afternoon at 2:45 PM.
From Kamakhya, the same train will be available between 16th March and 23rd March 2019, every Saturday. It will leave from Kamakhya station at 5:35 AM in the morning and will reach Anand Vihar the next evening at 6:15 PM.
