Railways to Start More Special Trains and Restore Old Trains

Indian Railways has announced more summer special trains on various routes. Along with this, a number of trains will also be restored. Below are the complete details:

> The Southern Railway will be running a special train between Tirunelveli and Mettupalayam. 

Train no. 06030 will depart from Tirunelveli on Thursdays from 21st April to 30th June. Train no. 06029 will depart from Mettupalayam on Fridays from 22nd April to 1st July. Bookings for these trains are now open.

> The North Eastern Railway will be running train nos. 05517/05518 between Bapudham Motihari and Ayodhya Cantt. 

Train no. 05517 will depart from Bapudham Motihari on Saturdays on 23rd and 30th April, and 7th May. Train no. 05518 will depart from Ayodhya Cantt. on Sundays on 24th April, and 1st and 8th May. 

> The Central Railway has launched a special train between Mumbai and Manmad. 

Train no. 02101 will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 03:45 PM and reach Manmad at 08:28 PM the same day. Train no. 02102 will depart from Manmad at 08:45 AM and reach CSMT at 01:28 PM the same day. 

These trains will be running on a daily basis for the convenience of the passengers. 

In addition, the Indian Railways will also be restoring various trains on important routes. Below are the details.

> The South Central Railway (SCR) will be restoring four trains covering popular cities like Guntur and Visakhapatnam. See the list here: 

  • Train no. 22701 Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada
  • Train no. 22702 Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam
  • Train no. 17227 Dhone – Guntur
  • Train no. 17228 Guntur – Dhone

> The SCR has also announced restoration of 7 MMTS trains that will be covering the cities of Hyderabad, Lingampalli, Falaknuma and Ramchandrapuram
