The fair lasts for three days and characterises the live performances of Bengali folk music performers-Bauls. 5. Desert Festival

The barren desert of Jaisalmer comes alive with colour and celebration during the three-day extravaganza of the Desert Festival. The celebration takes place amidst the beautiful dunes of the Thar Desert in the Sam Dunes. People dress up in traditional clothes, sing, and dance on to the music that depicts the joys and tragedies of the desert.
