Vaishno Devi Temple: Now 15,000 people allowed per day, details here

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday gave a green signal to increase the number of pilgrims visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine from 7,000 to 15,000 per day starting 1st November.

Also, the requirement for travellers to undergo home quarantine for 14 days has been removed.

The shrine was reopened after a 5-month gap in August due to the COVID-19 lockdown with an initial cap of 2000 devotees per day which included only 100 people from outside of Jammu and Kashmir.
