The Indian Railways will run 261 special trains to various destinations during Ganesh Chaturthi 2021, the Ministry of Railways said on Tuesday.

These special festival trains will provide ease of transportation to devotees attending the festival as well as to general passengers.

Here are the details:
The Central Railway is to run 201 Ganpati Special Trains, the Western Railway is to run 42 Ganpati Special Trains and the Konkan Rail Corporation Limited (KRCL) is to run 18 Ganpati Special Trains.
Important: These Ganpati Special Trains are fully reserved trains with special fare and shall run till 20th September, 2021.
Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains, while adhering to all norms related to COVID-19 during the boarding and travel.
