As per media reports, the day-time COVID curfew in the state has been lifted for all 75 districts. However, night curfew and the weekend curfew will continue:

In a series of Tweets, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced that the statewide lockdown will be coming to an end, since the COVID infections have reduced.

Government and private offices will be allowed to open till 4 pm with 50% capacity, and the opening hours of shops have also been extended till 5 pm.

Online classes will be allowed and there will be no restrictions on the movement of private vehicles. The Chief Minister further requested the general public to avoid crowded areas.

However, a night curfew between 7 pm and 5 am will continue to remain in force.

These guidelines will remain in force for the next one week.

Delhi had begun the unlocking process in the national capital, allowing manufacturing and construction businesses to resume work, and in the new guidelines that will remain in effect till June 14, the following new relaxations have been added:

> The Delhi Metro has been allowed to resume services with upto 50% seating capacity.

> All malls, markets and market complexes (except weekly markets) can function between 10 am and 8 pm on an odd-even basis. Shops selling essential goods have been permitted to open on all days without restriction in timings.

All standalone (single) shops, colony shops and shops in residential complexes have been allowed to open on all days without any distinction of essential and non-essential goods. However, in case the shops are selling non-essential goods, their timings of operations will be between 10 am and 8 pm.

> Private offices can function with 50% of their strength but work from home or staggered timings has been advised.

Here’s the complete order:

The ‘Mahamari Alert – Surakshit Haryana’ has been extended till June 14, and the new set of guidelines detail relaxations for restaurants, shops, malls, religious places, corporate offices among other establishments:

The state has opted for graded relaxations in the new guidelines which will remain in effect till June 15. Shops have been permitted to stay open till 6 pm, private offices can function at 50% capacity, and restaurants and gyms can open after one week with 50% capacity. The owners and workers of the restaurants and gyms have been advised to get vaccinated.

Night curfew will continue to be enforced at 7 pm till 6 am between Mondays and Saturdays, and a regular weekend curfew will be observed on Sundays.

Most importantly, since the positivity rate is declining in the state and active cases are also reducing, entry restrictions (COVID negative test / vaccination) for arrivals in Punjab have also been removed.

Maharashtra started a 5-tier unlock process from yesterday. Under this process, cities have been categorised under levels 1-5, depending upon the occupancy of oxygen beds and their weekly positivity rate. In Mumbai, which has been categorised under level 3, restaurants and shops selling non-essential items have been allowed to open but malls, multiplexes and theatres will continue to remain closed.

The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) has also resumed local bus services in Mumbai. As per the BEST, the number of passengers will not be more than the total number of seats in any bus and wearing of face mask will be mandatory for every passenger.

However, the statewide curfew has been extended till 15th June.

The new official order has mostly extended the guidelines till June 15, but there has been a relaxation in the opening hours of various shops in the state.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced that the lockdown has been extended till June 14, but timings of essential shops have been increased, and they will now be allowed to open between 7 am and 3 pm.

In addition to this, shops and stores related to building repairs, monsoon preparedness, rain protection and stationary items have also been allowed to open.
