With an average speed of 250 km per hour on an elevated corridor, this new project aims to reduce travel time between the two bustling cities from 12 hours to just 3.5 hours.

The proposed train route, outlined in a finalized railway project report, will include key stations such as Himmatnagar, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Rewari, and Manesar.

According to the Railway officials, “Approximately 900km elevated corridor between Ahmedabad and Delhi will significantly reduce travel time by around nine hours.”

While the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train service is expected to kick off by July 2026, all eyes are now on the fast-approaching launch of the Ahmedabad-Delhi bullet train.
