Railways Announces Diversion, Partial and Full Cancellation of Several Trains

In today’s latest news, the Indian Railways has decided to cancel, partially cancel and divert many trains due to unavoidable circumstances.

The national transporter has advised passengers to make a note of the affected trains so as to avoid any problems while travelling.

1) The South Central Railway announced that due to the doubling of track between Ettumanur, Kottayam and Chingavanam stations in the Ernakulam – Kayamkulam section, the following trains have been regulated:

Cancelled Trains:

> Train no. 16526 KSR Bengaluru – Kanyakumari Express will be cancelled on 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th May.

> Train no. 16525 Kanyakumari – KSR Bengaluru Express will be cancelled on 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th May.

Partially Cancelled Trains:

> Train no. 17230 Secunderabad – Thiruvananthapuram Sabari Express will be partially cancelled between Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram from 23rd to 27th May.

> Train no. 17229 Thiruvananthapuram – Secunderabad Sabari Express will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur from 24th to 28th May.

2) In another official tweet, cancellation of five pairs of trains on the Ahmedabad – Palanpur rail route till 7th May was announced.
