Couple • India • Sep 2026The location is quite remote and hard to access. The road is damaged, making it unsuitable for cars, and even riding a two-wheeler is challenging. Walking from the main road involves at least a 20-minute uphill trek. Everything else is located far from here.

Choosing to stay at Anantay was the best choice I made. The stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were clean, and we didn't encounter any issues during our 3-day trip in Shangarh. The staff was excellent, especially Johny bhaiya. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Anantay is located atop Shangarh, though the walk up isn't too challenging. It's a stunning, almost magical place set in one of the most beautiful locations on earth. The rooms are excellent and fully equipped; the staff truly make the experience exceptional. Indru was always nearby and ready to assist. Joni (Bufandartaku) is a warm-hearted person with a lovely smile and easily the best chef I've met during my year in India. The food is genuinely outstanding, made with love, attention, and expertise. Vinay, the manager, is incredible and greatly enhanced my stay at Anantay. He's always available, eager to deliver a first-class experience, and consistently greets you with a smile. He's a kind person who will gladly ensure your visit is luxurious, enjoyable, and fun.
