Dreamhome Stay

I can't praise this homestay enough. It comes highly recommended. The rooms, service, food, and staff attitude are all excellent. If you're visiting Kurseong, even solo like I was, this is the ideal place to stay. Truly feels like a dream home.

Our time at Dream Homestay in Kurseong was truly remarkable. For those seeking peace, comfort, and genuine hill-station hospitality away from busy places, this spot is perfect. The best part was waking up to stunning views of Kanchenjunga right from our room. Enjoying hot tea by the window as the morning sun lit up the snowy peaks was enchanting. The rooms are roomy and well-kept, with large windows that let in natural light and fresh mountain air while keeping the warmth inside at night. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, making it easy to relax—whether reading on the balcony or admiring the tea gardens and misty hills. The food was delicious, featuring a variety of fresh, hot home-cooked meals that felt personal, tasty, and clean. The hosts were very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and making us feel at home. Dream Homestay is a true treasure in Kurseong, ideal for families, couples, and solo visitors. We look forward to coming back!

They do not respect the driver.

The owner behaves very rudely and seems to prioritize staff over guests' comfort. The food served was stale. My family and I suffered severe stomach upset and vomiting after eating there. Since we didn't eat anywhere else outside the homestay, it's clear the food quality there is poor.

After checking out within an hour past the stated checkout time, we faced very unfriendly behavior. We weren't allowed to leave our vehicle parked for a few minutes despite heavy rain. The person showing this attitude was the only staff present, as those we had communicated with were unavailable. The owner and some staff members are very kind, but the end experience was quite unpleasant and hostile. Additionally, they charged 1,000 for an extra person without providing an extra bed or mattress, which was fine since we were just meeting a local friend. If you're traveling on your own, a two-wheeler or a small hatchback is suitable, as larger vehicles require difficult driving.
