Fortune Park Pushpanjali, Durgapur - Member ITC Hotels' Group

Stayed at Fortune Park Pushpanjali, Durgapur (ITC Hotels Group), Room 1221, and had a very disappointing experience.The hotel kept a snack basket openly displayed on the room table, giving every impression that it was complimentary. Unlike most 5-star properties I've stayed at (including ITC, JW Marriott, Conrad, etc.), there was no clear indication that these items were chargeable. Complimentary items such as slippers were not given unless asked, so is hair dryer, kettle were all hidden and this was open on the table.What was even more concerning was the condition of the snacks. After opening and tasting them, they appeared stale and had a sandy, dusty texture. I later noticed a February sticker on the packets, thought it might be month when these were stocked. As the snacks seemed unfit for consumption, most of them had to be discarded. Later just now i found out that those were expired on February, this is JUNEEEEE.To make matters worse, during checkout my husband was charged nearly ’1,500 for these items. Charging guests for snacks that are clearly shown as complimentary is one issue; charging for products that are stale and expired is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about guest safety and quality control.I hope the management investigates the condition of the products supplied in the room, and provides an appropriate resolution.Unfortunately, this experience has significantly impacted my trust in Fortune Park Pushpanjali and does not reflect the standards I expect from an ITC Hotels property.

Good ambience and service.. Our staycation was very good.. One thing im advicing that plz look speciaply about your bed and pillow qualities.. And you have to provide essential toileteris for two persons of the double occupancy rooms.. Else location and food quality was superb..but one thing they did mistake in bill and took extra money from us.. After so many calls and request they did not refund our money.. One of their employee mr. Piyush intentinally did it..

Next time also I prefer same hotel

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent booking experience on your platform.I made this reservation after clearly selecting 2 adults in the search criteria. Based on this, I expected that all room options displayed would be suitable for two occupants. However, to my shock and inconvenience upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the room booked through your platform was only valid for 1 adult occupancy.This situation is completely unacceptable and reflects misleading information being presented during the booking process. If I explicitly searched for 2 adults, it is unreasonable and highly confusing that your platform would allow or display options limited to 1 adult without clear and prominent warnings.As a direct result of this discrepancy, I was forced to pay an additional amount of over 2000 plus taxes at the hotel to accommodate the second adult. This unexpected expense was entirely due to inaccurate or insufficiently transparent information on your platform.Furthermore, I am extremely disappointed with the way my concern has been handled by your customer support team. Your representative, Ms. Richa Pathak, along with her senior staff, was not willing to provide a satisfactory resolution during the call. Instead of addressing the issue constructively, it appeared that there was a clear intention to close the case without resolving the concern.Additionally, when I requested Ms. Pathak to provide her employee ID for the purpose of further escalation, she immediately refused. This lack of transparency and accountability is highly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when a customer is seeking a fair resolution to a genuine issue.Your response stating that the occupancy was “clearly indicated” does not resolve the core issue — the booking flow itself is misleading. A user filtering for 2 adults should not be presented with incompatible room options without explicit and unavoidable clarification.I strongly urge you to:Reassess this case with fairness and accountabilityProvide a full refund of the additional amount (2000 + taxes) that I was forced to payEnsure proper training and accountability within your customer support teamReview your booking interface to prevent such misleading experiences for other customersThis experience has significantly impacted my trust in your platform. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate this issue through appropriate consumer grievance channels.I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter
